By Air

Les Contamines is about a one hour drive from Geneva Airport.

Please be aware:
Geneva airport has two sections. A French side and a Swiss side. If you rent a car from the French side, which is usually less expensive then from the Swiss side, it may not be equipped with snow tires in winter and it usually doesn’t have the Swiss highway sticker. In order for you to access the swiss highway system with your vehicle you are obligated to purchase a $ 40.00 sticker at the border crossing.
Your own Car
Should you wish to drive your own vehicle, which would give you the advantage to travel through the beautiful and varied French countryside you should visit www.mappy.fr to find the most convenient way to Les Contamines. You will find information on the shortest or most scenic route as well as information on toll fees. Once you reach A40, the highway between Geneva and Chamonix you take exit 21 and follow the directions to Les Contamines Montjoie. We are a short 20 minutes from the intersection. Be aware: Not all toll booth accept foreign credit cards.
By Train
If landing in Geneva airport or arriving in Geneva, a shuttle train is available to Le Fayet station, called the LEMAN EXPRESS. Service every two hours.
Train service from anywhere in Europe is well worth considering. From the UK the Eurostar will take you to the mainland and once in France High speed TGV trains will take you to either Saint Gervais Le Fayet or Geneva. Coach transfers are available from either railway station to Les Contamines-Montjoie. Visit www.ouibus.com, or www.sat-montblanc.com.
